Services Contract Manager

* Possess bilingual English/Spanish language capabilities. (highly desired)

The successful applicant will work with the Services Contract Management Team to provide contractual and commercial support to the Customer Advocacy Services Sales organization covering both the US and Canada Theatres. The role includes reviewing and structuring non-standard Statement of Work (SOW) services deals/offerings within the boundaries of Cisco's legal and commercial policies. Overall responsibility of the role will be to work closely with the Sales Teams, Finance Teams, Legal Teams and Deal Management Teams to provide commercial assurance with respect to SOW-based services to be provided to customers.

Through strong leadership, business partnering, communication and influencing skills the candidate will be able to build trust and confidence within the business.

Specific areas of focus include:

* Review and approval of standard and non-standard Statements of Work (SOWs) for Customers
* Review and approval of standard and non-standard Statements of Work (SOWs) for Subcontractors (back to back SOWs)
* Advise and assist the CA Sales teams during SOW negotiation with Customers
* Advise and assist the CA Sales teams during negotiation with Subcontractors
* Determine appropriate actions and solutions for the more complex commercial and business issues related to the services offered
* Able to apply policies and render guidance with a view to achieving best solution for Cisco and Customer

* The individual will demonstrate the capacity and strong desire to learn new things and quickly apply that knowledge to specific tasks.

* The individual will have the ability to operate well in a cross-functional team setting, and foster strong relationships with the sales teams, support team members, suppliers, partners or customers.

It is preferred the position be located in Miami/Fort Lauderdale, FL or surrounding geographic area.


Typically requires BS/BA degree or equivalent with 5+ years industry related experience. Legal qualification preferred although not essential.

Skills Required

* 3+ years experience with SOW legal framework and governing legal agreements.
* 2+ years experience applying business policies and process.
* 2+ years experience in contractual law related to the provision of services.
* 2+ years experience with commercial and financial experience
* 2+ years experience working with various levels (mid to senior management) across geographies.
* 2+ years experience in commercial negotiation with customers and/or subcontractors
* 2+ years experience translating commercial/legal scenarios into simple language, business issues professionally.
* Basic technical knowledge of industry
* US citizenship

Preferred skills:

* Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and persuasion skills, including the ability to weigh and articulate the risk and benefit of various scenarios and propose effective resolutions.
