Hello, my name is Novell Allen. I am a classically trained singer and pianist with over 16 years of classical study. Unfortunately, over time, I've found that there isn't much guidance offered to students who would like to take their careers from the practice room to the professional level. And so I differ from other instructors in that I assist in building the careers of my students through consultation and/or performing opportunities through live shows that I produce. My purpose is to give students industry current, practical tools and knowledge that will make them stage and industry ready. With over 16 years of performing and teaching experience, including having sung with such prestigious institutions such as the florida Grand Opera, and being Artistic Director of the "Novell NU Soul Series" held at the Van Dyke Cafe as well as Maitardi, I have grown to become one of S. Florida's most respected vocal coaches and instructors. For those who simply want learn to sing or play piano for their own pleasure, my offer extends to you as well.
